We are a dynamic and environmentally committed 16 year old New York company specializing in high end metalwork fabrication and antique restoration for the architecture and interior design community. We’re looking for a highly detailed machinist and toolmaker to work in our machining department. We operate out of our 20,000′ Solar powered, LEED Gold factory in Bushwick. The ideal candidate must have:

1. A “can-do” attitude
2. 3+ yrs experience in CNC programming, fixturing, and efficiency optimization for lathes and mills in 4 axis. (Mastercam, Mazatrol, Solidworks)
3. 3+ years manual machining experience on Bridgeports and engine lathes
4. Superior scheduling, organizational and communication skills.
5. Strong, quick, computer skills
6. Neatness & organization
7. “Hustle” and a strong work ethic
8. Ability to function as a team member.

Nice, But Not Necessary:

1. A broad knowledge of metal process engineering, fabrication, and assembly operations such as: Sheetmetal: Spinning, Rolling, Brake-work, Forming, Grinding, Brazing, Welding, and other joining techniques.

Your Duties Will Encompass:
1. Programming, set-up, and running CNC mills and lathes
2. Coordination with Design and Production departments.
3. Deadline management and workflow scheduling, prioritize projects, meet due dates
